Ovulation testing and choosing a sperm donor

During the consultation, we explain how and with which ovulation tests you need to test so that we can find the optimal treatment timing.

You’re welcome to read our blog post about ovulation tests before your consultation.

If you need a sperm donor for your treatment, we will go through your wishes and how best to fulfil them. We introduce you to the donors from the Born Donor Bank and Livio Sperm Bank, which we have in-depth knowledge of, and we explain how you can reserve donor sperm before treatment.

Learn more about sperm donors and donor categories to make informed decisions for your fertility journey.

We also guide you on purchasing donor sperm from other banks and what to consider during the process.

IUI with partner or known donor

If you choose treatment with your partner’s sperm, we’ll explain the procedure and how to optimise sperm quality.

If you have a friend or acquaintance as a known donor or future father, this is also an option.

It’s essential that the known donor also has a consultation with us to ensure everyone understands the implications of this choice.

This process ensures that all parties are fully informed for the benefit of both you and the child. Learn more about legal implications of using a known donor.

Get answers to your questions

Last but not least, you’ll have the opportunity to ask all your questions. Preparing a list in advance can be helpful.

This allows us to address your concerns thoroughly and clarify any uncertainties you may have.

We aim to ensure the consultation provides a clear overview of the process, leaving you feeling confident and ready.

If you have additional questions after the consultation, you’re always welcome to contact us.

Book an appointment for the initial consultation

We offer consultations every day during daytime hours, with evening appointments available on select days as shown in the booking calendar.

The consultation lasts approximately 30-60 minutes.

We recommend scheduling the consultation at least a month before your first insemination to allow time for test results and donor selection. However, you can book on shorter notice if we receive test results in time for the first treatment.

You can choose to have the consultation at the clinic, via video call, or over the phone.

If you select a video call, we’ll include a link in your confirmation email sent immediately after booking. For phone consultations, we’ll call you at the agreed time.
