Meet our IVF staff
Here you will find an introduction to our staff in the IVF department at Diers Fertility Clinic.
We look forward to welcoming you!
Founder
I originally trained as a midwife but have been working in fertility treatment for nearly 20 years.
My motivation for opening Diers Fertility Clinic is to help every woman or couple achieve their dream of becoming parents. Equal rights and access to fertility treatments for anyone with the capacity to provide love and care as parents are causes I am deeply passionate about.
I have personally undergone fertility treatment at the clinic and am the proud mother of three donor-conceived children.
I look forward to welcoming you in the clinic.
CEO
I have five years of experience in the fertility industry, but the majority of my career has been with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where I have been posted in Sweden, Australia, Malaysia, and most recently, the United Kingdom.
My primary responsibilities are management of the IVF team, including responsibility for financial management.
You will meet me in the hallways of the clinic, and I look forward to greeting you.
Laboratory Manager and Tissue Centre Responsible Person, Biologist, MSc, PhD
Since 2020, I have served as the Tissue Centre Responsible Person at Diers Klinik (IUI), where I also performed sperm preparation, ultrasounds, and inseminations. In 2021, I joined the IVF laboratory, gaining experience with embryological techniques.
Today, I am the Laboratory Manager and Responsible Person for both the IUI and IVF tissue centres, which means you will rarely see me during treatments. My role is to ensure the quality of laboratory techniques and ensure compliance with regulations. To me it is incredibly rewarding to contribute to helping women and couples achieve their dreams.
Medical Director, Specialist in Gynaecology and Fertility
I am responsible for maintaining the clinic’s high medical standards. I have been working in the field of fertility since 2012, with a particular interest in adenomyosis and fibroids.
You will primarily meet me at the clinic, where I conduct initial examinations, consultations, scans, egg retrievals, and embryo transfers.
Together with my colleagues, my ultimate goal is to provide a sense of security and care while helping individuals and couples achieve their greatest dream.

Midwife, BSc in Midwifery
I have been a midwife for 20 years. For the past five years, I have specialised in fertility treatments. Prior to that, I worked with pregnancy, childbirth, and postnatal care. I speak fluent Danish and English.
I will be part of your treatment journey from the very first information session about how the process will unfold until you have a positive pregnancy test. 😊
At the clinic, you will meet me during egg retrievals, embryo transfers, and ultrasound scans. You’ll also be in contact with me via email, especially if your scans are carried out in your home country. In such cases, we’ll communicate by email to plan the next steps.
Fertility Nurse, BSc in Nursing
My name is Mai, and I am a trained intensive care nurse. I worked in neuro-surgical intensive care for 10 years before transitioning to fertility nursing three years ago.
I am also a mother to two wonderful children conceived through fertility treatment, so I fully understand the thoughts and concerns that may arise during a fertility journey. I consider it a great honour to help others achieve the greatest gift of all—becoming parents.
You will meet either me or my colleague via email, during scans, at embryo transfers, or during egg retrieval procedures, where I or another colleague will be present alongside the fertility doctor to ensure you feel safe and comfortable throughout the entire process.

As team leader, I manage daily patient interactions and oversee the coordination of their treatments. My tasks include invoicing, crediting, and follow-ups. I also serve as the primary contact for our German partners and am responsible for organising webinars and related events.

Fertility Coordinator
I am originally from Germany and speak fluent German, English, and Danish.
This is my first job in the fertility industry, but it is an industry I plan to stay in for a long time. I coordinate all patient processes, match egg donors and patients, conduct initial consultations, and am available via email and phone, where you will meet me the most.
At the clinic, you will meet me when you come up the stairs to the 4th floor.
Together with my colleagues, I ensure that all practical matters are taken care of so that the treatment team can focus on the medical aspects.
Fertility Coordinator
I am currently on maternity leave but look forward to returning in March.
Fertility Coordinator
I am a trained medical secretary and currently studying to become a health communicator. I am fluent in German, English and Danish.
I have worked in healthcare since 2015 and have been in close contact with patients, relatives and many different professional groups.
My primary tasks/responsibilities in the clinic are communication with new and current patients both by email, phone and video calls. Coordination of treatment programmes. Planning and allocation of administrative tasks. Follow-up correspondence with patients and egg donors, including donor matching.
You will meet me at the initial consultations and by email, where I look forward to welcoming you.
ESHRE Certified Embryologist
I am a qualified biomedical laboratory scientist, graduating in 2007, and have specialised in the field of fertility since 2013. My work is based in the IVF laboratory, where I perform all techniques related to fertility treatments, including freezing sperm and blastocysts, ICSI, IVF, and egg culturing.
You will meet me during blood sampling, egg retrieval, and the transfer of the embryo to the uterus. However, most of my work takes place behind the scenes in the laboratory, where I ensure the highest professional standards and success rates for your treatment.
My commitment lies in providing the best possible conditions for the eggs throughout the laboratory process and creating a safe and professional experience for you.
ESHRE Certified Embryologist
My name is Tine, and you will meet me in the laboratory here at Diers’ IVF department. I am a qualified biomedical laboratory scientist and later specialised as an ESHRE-certified embryologist. Working in this field has always been a passion of mine—there’s something truly special about the craftsmanship and precision it demands.
I have had the privilege of working in the field of fertility for 17 years, gaining experience in both research and in private as well as public fertility clinics.
Every day, I am grateful for the opportunity to make a difference for families like yours.❤️

My name is Sofie, and you will primarily meet me if you are an egg donor. I conduct consultations and coordinate the egg donation processes. We will be in close contact throughout your journey, and my top priority is ensuring that you feel safe and well-informed every step of the way. It’s truly inspiring to meet so many incredible women who are passionate about making a difference!
Patients may see me in the hallways or waiting area at Diers Fertility Clinic, but most of my work happens behind the scenes. I help ensure the best possible donor pool for our egg donation treatments. I have a thorough understanding of all our donors and am always happy to assist in finding the perfect match for you.
